The CJC Artist-in-Residence Endowment was established in 1998 and endowed by the Caplan Family Foundation, Inc. of Baltimore and Catherine R. Caplan, 1978 of New York in memory of her father, the late Caswell J. Caplan.The endowment provides special programming for the arts at Roland Park Country School on a rotating basis between the performing and visual arts. Through the CJC Artist-in-Residence Program, RPCS has brought leading visual and performing artists to campus to work with students of all ages. Their creations bring energy and contribute to an atmosphere of playful invention in the School.

The Sarah Crane Cohen Visiting Scholar in the Humanities Endowment was established in 1993 by the late Charles Crane in memory of his mother. It is intended that the Sarah Crane Cohen Visiting Scholar shall be recognized for his/ her accomplishments in any of several fields which comprise “the humanities.” This individual is selected from a culturally diverse background which varies from scholar to scholar.

The Anne Healy endowment was created to honor Miss Healy, who served as the Head of School for 25 years, from 1950 to 1975. A special day is set aside every year and a distinguished person in the field of letters is invited to meet and work with groups of students during the school day and to present an evening program for students, faculty and members of the larger school community.
 

The Doug and Carol Croft Linde, 1982 Health Colloquium allows RPCS to engage nationally recognized wellness speakers and researchers annually to work in partnership with our students, employees and parents – as well as the local community. These academic seminars with industry professionals enable RPCS young women to explore their interests in mental and physical health while also equipping them and their families with the tools and insight needed to flourish across any stage of life. The Colloquium was originally funded by past parent and former trustee James (Jim) Robinson and supported through the annual fund. For a full listing of past speakers, please see below.
