Explore the fun place we have in our town; all children who attend this camp must be able to follow directions, stay with the group without needing one on one attention, use quiet and polite voices and not get overstimulated by a non-rigid schedule. Families will need to provide students with a “brown bag” lunch.

From Castles and Dragons to Fairies and Frogs– campers will explore the world of magic through books and plays to create magic objects, fairy or gnome gardens. We will dip into the delights of Shakespeare, honor ancient herbology potions, and adventure into the world of fairies and dragons!

This camp will focus on building and maintaining athletic ability through a variety of training such as strength, endurance, flexibility and circuit training to aid participants become well rounded in all physical activities. Mixed group sports and activities will be played.

Get your apron and rolling pins ready! Campers will get hands-on baking experience in a safe environment with an established RPCS high school baker, Ms. Lauren. Campers work with homemade recipes and learn about kitchen/food safety, and how to work well with others!

From smoothies to tea-sandwiches and grilled cheese, campers will use small appliances like blenders, microwaves and toasters to create tasty snacks and side-dishes. This camp is geared towards elementary students, but also great for middle schoolers who want to make quick and easy microwave snacks and meals.

Instructor: Harford Heights and Boys' Latin lacrosse players
Ages: 5-11
Dates: Week 3 (July 10 - 14)
Times: half day (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Cost: $275

Members and recent alum from the Boys' Latin lacrosse team will coach campers. This camp is for first-time players or those wanting to improve on their fundamental lacrosse skills, come practice stick work, shooting, ground balls and basic lacrosse concepts. Some equipment will be onsite, you are welcome and encouraged to bring your personal equipment. All campers must have a mouth-guard.

Once upon a time, there was a group of campers who worked hard to create an unforgettable story! They learned about creating a story with a beginning, middle, end, protagonist, antagonist, and more. Then they created an illustrated book of their story, as well as performed their story with costumes and props or puppets and miniatures. And everyone lived happily ever after!

Have fun creating games out of items you may find lying around your house (like pool noodles) or objects from a recycling bin. Campers will make some games and play a variety of outdoor games.

Campers will make, hide, and find treasure! We will use maps, go on scavenger hunts and solve puzzles to find the next clues. During this week, campers may explore the great outdoors and leave the RPCS campus to explore nearby nature areas and parks to do some geocaching. All campers will get to create a treasure box and fill it with gems, jewelry, and coins from the week. Adventure awaits you!

Explore the deep blue sea and wonders of the wind during this hands-on camp. Campers enjoy creating miniature boats, learn about water properties and what makes an object sink or float.
