On Friday, January 11, 2019, Roland Park Country School proudly inducted six alumnae and one coach into the RPCS Athletic Hall of Fame.
The 2019 Induction Class is the sixth group of inductees to be honored since the inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
“Tonight, we cover a span of eight decades and seven different athletic journeys, with the passion for being a RED as the common bond,” RPCS Director of Athletics Carol Hatton shared during the ceremony. “For our inductees, their legacies are easy to remember, the memories about them are vivid and the impact lasting.”

Throughout this special evening full of inspirational speeches from our honorees and their introducers, shared memories with former teammates and coaches, and proud moments for friends and family, one theme stood out the most: a shared pride in being a RED. Student Government Association President and two-sport captain Mary Griffin, 2019, explained how this continues to have an effect on our current student-athletes.
“Your commitment to your teams, and to being a RED, is unique and has provided lessons for all athletes here at RPCS,” said Mary. “You all have shaped what it means to be a RED, and you have encouraged hundreds of athletes to make every RED, past or present, proud.”
Following the induction ceremony, our inductees were honored at halftime of the Varsity Basketball game vs the Institute of Notre Dame, where the REDS earned a 66-37 victory.
