Congratulations to the Roland Park Country School Class of 2019! Our 71 unique and ambitious graduates are setting off on a wide range of opportunities this fall. They have been accepted to 119 outstanding four-year colleges and universities that will match well with their academic pursuits and extracurricular interests, including two Ivy League universities, two military institutions and four historically black colleges.
Seventy seven percent of the students who graduated last week will attend comprehensive universities and nearly 21 percent will attend a liberal arts college. Eleven of our graduates will continue their athletic careers to play at the collegiate level in lacrosse, basketball, golf and soccer.
As Caroline Blatti, the Head of School said at Commencement on June 11, “The Class of 2019 has been an incredible class. Here at RPCS you have been the leaders of the school. You have risen to the occasion time and again. And…you speak your truth. You are the scholars, athletes, thespians, visual artists, activists, ambassadors, friends, mentors, world travelers, passionate writers, curious mathematicians and scientists, we care about so very much.”
