School's Out Auxiliary Programs

The program operates from 3:10 p.m.  - 6:00 p.m. every day school is in session, as well as conference days and early dismissal days.

Each afternoon includes:

• A provided snack upon arrival
• Homework time
• A variety of indoor play options
• Playground time

Parents/Guardians are expected to pick up students by 6:00 p.m. Pick-up occurs inside the Lower School entrance. Parents/Guardians will wait for their child to come to them after the parent notifies the front desk of their arrival. Parents/Guardians must sign out student in the Lower School Multi-Purpose Room upon departure. Students are not permitted to sign themselves out.

Parents arriving after 6:00 p.m. will be charged a LATE FEE OF $1 per minute starting at 6:01 p.m. and continuing until pick-up that day.

• 2–5 day or drop-in schedules available
• All students must be pre-registered and have completed required paperwork. 

Name of Program: Crochet Club

Crochet Club provides a fun opportunity to learn the art of crocheting! Beginners and experienced crocheters alike will work on take-home projects like: scarves, hair accessories, keychains and more. Express your creativity and relax while making something special and learning a lifelong skill!

Let's sell lemonade! Students will become "lemonade entrepreneurs" and learn how to make yummy lemonade and earn money selling it! From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits to experimenting with recipes, students have fun while developing business savvy.

Dance your heart out to the music of K-Pop Demon Hunters, Wicked, Taylor Swift, Descendants/Zombies, and more! In Pop Dance Club, students will learn fundamentals of various dance styles including ballet, modern, and lyrical dance. Activities will include dancing to themed music, fun dance games and activities, and learning steps and choreography! No prior dance experience is required.

This program emphasizes safety and age-appropriate activity to help children develop strength, mobility, and confidence while participating in sports and physical activity. Through fun, engaging movement-based exercises, students will improve coordination, balance, and body awareness while learning how to move safely and effectively. The goal is to create a positive relationship with movement that supports both athletic participation and overall physical development.

Are you ready to RALLY the REDS! We are excited to bring cheerleading to RPCS. We will learn basic cheer fundamentals such as proper hand motions, cheers, chants, and entry level stunts that will cater to all kids no matter their cheer experience. Are you ready to Rally the Reds? 

Rally the Reds will attend select RPCS athletic events! Dates TBD!
 

Name of Program: Private Music Lessons
Instructor: Charm City Music School
Cost: $58/half-hour

This running program is for kids in grades K-2 and is intended to expose them to the basics of running in a fun and exciting atmosphere. If there is interest, our athletes will have the opportunity to race with the Reds Track Club.

Heroic Kitchens: A Super Chefs Journey
Calling all future superheroes! In this exciting cooking class, Tiny Chefs will whip up delicious recipes inspired by the favorite foods of iconic superheroes and villains. From mixing to frosting and decorating, chefs will learn essential cooking techniques while crafting heroic (and villainous!) menus. Join us for a fun-filled semester of superhero-inspired culinary adventures!

Wildlife in Our World: We will explore different matters each week that affect animals, highlighting what the kids can do to help wildlife in the wild.  Weekly topics include; Home Sweet Habitat, Trash Talk: Animals and Pollution, Eco Heroes in Your Backyard, Endangered and At Risk Animals, Night Moves: Animals of the Dark, and Critter and Climate Champions.  

This program will include live animal visitors that the students will get to touch and hold!
