School's Out Auxiliary Programs
Extended Day, After School Enrichment,
and Full Day Care Options
The School's Out program is a combination of after school enrichment opportunities for any child in the community and Extended Day (aftercare) for RPCS students in Lower School and Middle School. Program descriptions are below.
Our after-school offerings are divided into two primary categories:
- Extended Day Program: Available for Lower and Middle School students, providing a consistent daily childcare option.
- Enrichment Programs: Seasonal offerings in a variety of interest areas
Our programs are open to both RPCS students and the wider community. Please note that we do not provide transportation from local schools like RPEMS. Children will be overseen by the Director and Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs, following Maryland Office of Childcare regulations. Please note that for safety reasons, children will only be released to individuals listed in your CampBrain portal.
Discounts for families receiving financial aid apply to scheduled care only and cannot be applied to drop-in fees. Please contact Director of Auxiliary Programs Lindsay Quinn for more details.
Extended Day
Lower School Extended Day 2026-2027
The Lower School program focuses on providing a seamless transition from the school day to a fun and productive afternoon.
Middle School Extended Day
2026-2027
RPCS is proud to now offer extended care for our Middle School students. Families will have two options to choose from, both offering 2–5 day or drop-in registration. All options require students to be pre-registered and have completed required paperwork.
Enrichment & Care Programs
Lower School Enrichment Programs
Enrichment after-school clubs are after-school opportunities for your child to pursue a passion or curiosity in a fun, relaxed environment with their schoolmates and students from local schools. Session dates and times vary by program, but generally run from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. If you require care beyond 4:30 p.m., our extended day program runs until 6:00 p.m every day.

Middle School Enrichment Programs
Our Middle School Empowerment Programs are designed specifically for 5th-8th grade students to learn or strengthen a passion or skill. These programs generally run during the weeks between athletic seasons.

Full Day Care 2026-2027
We offer full-day care (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) on days when the school is closed for Professional Development or Conferences. Please note that registration for these days is separate, and specific dates (such as early dismissal days) will be communicated throughout the year.
