  • Robotics

    Grades K-5
    This class uses LEGO® WeDo 2.0. Each session includes different projects so material doesn’t repeat! LEGO WeDo 2.0 is a hands-on activity that combines the LEGO® brick, child-friendly software, and engaging projects which inspire children to explore the world of robotics. Each pair of children works with a tablet and a LEGO kit that includes 280 pieces, a SmartHub, motor, and sensors. Students learn to use gears and pulleys to program robots that move, crank, spin and communicate.

  • The STEAM Lab

    Join us as we transform our kitchen into a tinker lab where children are inspired to build like an engineer, question like a scientist, create like an artist, and deduce like a mathematician all through the world of cooking! Whether learning about the galaxy while making galactic donuts or exploring how a volcano works with our erupting volcano cakes, your chef will be sure to experience hands-on fun in our kitchen. Watch their excitement as they develop their culinary creations and then dig in with a spoon and enjoy!

  • Crazy 8's Math Club

    This club provides the opportunity for children to enjoy the math behind their favorite activities! With Crazy 8s kids will build glow-in-the-dark structures, crack secret spy codes and play games like Toilet Paper Olympics.

    This class provides children the opportunity to try FIRST® LEGO® League, which gives teams of up to 10 students the chance to research a real-world challenge, then innovate and develop their own solution through designing, building, and coding LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robots to perform autonomous “missions” on a playing field.

  • Little Medical School

    Grades K - 5
    The mission of Little Medical School® is to teach elementary and middle school children about the exciting field of medicine. Through hands-on demonstrations, crafts, and games, children are actively engaged as they explore the world of medicine. Through interactive learning, kids will discover how the body and organs work, how to use medical instruments, administer first aid and even tie knots like a real surgeon. Each child will receive a working stethoscope to take home and a diploma as a graduate of the Little Medical School® after completion of the course.

  • Introduction to Rowing: Indoor Rowing Clinic

    Grades 4 – 5
    Want to learn how to row? Join our indoor rowing clinic, for ages 9 and older, boys and girls welcome. Participants will learn the basics of sweep rowing in the eight-station RPCS indoor tank, a prerequisite for the on-water weekend workshops.

    All programs are led by David Rosen, Director of Rowing at RPCS. David is a US Rowing Level III High Performance certified coach with over 20 years of experience coaching youth and adult rowing.

  • Indoor Rowing Minicamp

    Grades 4 - 5
    Want to learn how to row? Indoor rowing weekend minicamps will be held on select Saturday and Sunday mornings for boys and girls ages 9 and older. Minicamps will take place at the RPCS indoor rowing center and will cover the basics of sweep rowing and sculling.
