Community Engagement

There is growing national momentum for schools from all sectors to help build a brighter future for our country’s children. Roland Park Country School’s efforts to create greater community outreach began over a decade ago when we opened our campus to summer public school enrichment camps like Superkids and Reader’s Camp, and designed and began to run the successful Middle Grades Partnership program, Growing Girls and Gardens as well as host B.E.S.T.. (Baltimore’s Educational Scholarship Trust) academic enrichment camp.

RPCS is motivated to become a part of the solution in the education of girls in Baltimore City and is working to develop ongoing programs that foster engagement. RPCS is a founding member of the National Network of Schools in Partnership. RPCS is also the first independent school in the nation to be approved to open a charter school - The Lillie May Carroll Jackson School.
