Measure, stir, whisk, and bake! Learn valuable cooking skills while having fun in these delicious camps. 

MEXICAN FOODS, DIM SUM, PASTA & BRUNCH

List of 1 events.

  • Ages 11-17, 9:00- 4:00, $375

    Led by Chef Nancy Longo

    Learn how to make homemade tortillas, salsa, fajitas, dumplings, spring rolls, eggrolls and Asian sauces, as well as homemade pasta, raviolis and Italian sauces. We will also learn to make omlettes, quiches and other brunch foods.
    A summer cooking class for budding young chefs! Campers will learn cooking techniques and see how a restaurant kitchen works as they prepare recipes with Chef Nancy Longo. Aprons will be provided, as well as lunch and beverages. Campers will also be able to bring home their prepared food and recipes of the day for family to enjoy! Class size is limited, so we encourage early registration. 

    NOTE: Camp is held at Pierpoint Restaurant. Transportation from RPCS will be provided; school bus will depart promptly at 9:15 am. For safety reasons and Health Department regulations, please follow the dress code:  all campers must be dressed in kitchen ready clothes; no sleeveless shirts and no sandals or flip flops.

Gourmet Chefs: Cupcake Wars

  • Ages 8-11, 1:00 - 4:00, $215

    Cupcakes are all the rage and it’s a trend that’s clearly here to stay!  If you’ve ever been curious about how the pros make those cupcakes so precious and ornate, and if competition is your middle name, then this is the week for you!
    You’ll spend three days on cupcake basics-measuring, mixing, baking, and frosting, and then finish the week with two days of baking battle!  Small teams will face off with one another to compete for the title of “Best Cupcake!” May the best cupcake win!

    Holidays conjure up memories and nostalgia and so much of it relates to… food! Get ready for a week of delicious celebrations as we whip up Thanksgiving Pumpkin parfaits, Fourth of July cupcakes, Valentine's Day Chocolate Raspberry mousse cups, Halloween spider web pizzas, and Cinco de Mayo veggie quesadillas with guacamole, plus much, much more!
