    Upper School Head
    Roland Park Country School seeks an educational leader and administrator to serve as head of its Upper School Division for 2019-2020.  RPCS is a K-12 all girls’ school with 580 students and a co-educational pre-school. The Upper School serves 305 students in grades 9-12. The Upper School Head reports to the Head of School and provides instructional and administrative leadership to 50 highly experienced and talented faculty and staff.  RPCS endeavors to find an educator who seeks, embraces, and is a champion for diversity and inclusion in all capacities. The ideal candidate will have energy and vision to lead the Upper School within the context of an all school mission to educate girls and young women who “look within and beyond themselves to contribute to and serve as stewards and leaders of their communities.”
     
    Candidates must have exceptional leadership skills, a keen and curious intellect, a strong desire to be part of a collaborative team, excellent organizational and communication skills and be committed to academic excellence. Additionally, we seek a leader who possesses an ability to resolve conflicts and to make difficult decisions when necessary; who seeks to sustain and participate in an intellectually lively, creative environment; and who embodies personal qualities of integrity, empathy, and humor.
     
    The ideal candidate will have a Masters’ degree in an education related field and experience teaching and leading at the US level. Responsibilities will include supporting curricular initiatives 9-12, fostering positive and meaningful relationships among teachers and students and working collaboratively on a senior leadership team. Candidates should be prepared to assume full responsibility and authority for curriculum and instruction, faculty support and development and daily operations of the Upper School on July 1, 2019. Click Here to Apply

    Library Assistant (Long-term Part-time)
    Roland Park Country School, an all-girls independent school is seeking a long-term part-time library assistant. Responsibilities include supervising the library space which serves both the Middle and Upper Schools, as well as staffing the circulation desk, checking out books and assisting both students and faculty with research.   Hours are Monday through Friday from 12-5pm.  Interested candidates should apply by completing the employment application and submitting a resume and cover letter. Click Here to Apply

    Part-Time Receptionist 

    Roland Park Country School is seeking a part-time receptionist weekday afternoons from 4pm until 8pm. Candidates should be warm, welcoming and helpful, as primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors and representing RPCS to the public.  Additional duties include but are not limited to answering phones, monitoring radio communications with the staff, and alerting personnel of any security issues.     Long-Term Substitute Upper School STEM
    Roland Park Country School is seeking an experienced teacher for a long-term maternity leave from March 1 to May 31.  Teachers at RPCS plan innovative lessons, classroom activities and assignments designed to engage a diverse student population. RPCS is a laptop school; candidates are expected to be able to integrate technology into the curriculum. Candidates should enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting the developmental needs of adolescent girls.  1-2 years of classroom experience is required.     Infant-Toddler Teacher (Full Time)

    Roland Park Country School is seeking a loving and nurturing Infant-Toddler Teacher for a full time position in our Little Reds Early Childhood Program.  Qualified candidates must have their 45 Hour Infant – Toddler Certification, 90 Hour Child Care Certification OR degree with approved coursework in early childhood education.  The ideal candidate will possess three or more years of experience with infants and toddlers and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with various teachers as well as administrators.     Little Reds Aftercare Teacher (Part Time)

    Roland Park Country School seeks an energetic and reliable aftercare teacher for our Little Reds Early Childhood Program.  Our program is Reggio Inspired and takes a very child led approach as well as spending a lot of time outdoors in nature. We are looking for someone who loves children and is ready to be a part of a collaborative team.     Roland Park Country School is seeking mature, creative, and caring substitutes for its Little Bear Child Care Center. Little Bear is open Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm.     Roland Park Country School is seeking the following coaching positions for the 2018-2019 school year:
    • Assistant Swimming (winter)
    • Assistant Track & Field – Hurdles, Jumps, Throws, Pole Vault (spring)
    • Assistant Crew (spring)
    Roland Park Country School is located in Baltimore MD, and competes in the IAAM conference. The winter season runs from early November through mid-February. The spring season runs from mid-February through early May. Candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills. These are paid, part-time positions and a background check is required. Candidates should have previous experience either playing or coaching.
