learning at the board

The second grade curriculum was developed to provide an opportunity for our girls to transition to new academic rigors in dynamic and interactive ways.

Girls are encouraged to be more independent and are expected to have more stamina for the learning process. Creating presentations about research using new technology, collaborating on STEM challenges, starting micro-businesses to develop entrepreneur skills, and using more sophisticated understanding of literacy and numeracy to communicate ideas, all contribute to making the second grade year a real turning point for our girls!
