Discover the fun and creativity of improvisation!! Develop the understanding of theatre and to feel comfortable on stage! This class will give the students an opportunity to work together to build self-confidence, cooperation, speaking and listening skills, thinking spontaneously and a chance to be creative. Students will enjoy a class that gives them an opportunity to be expressive! Enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun is the only requirement

At Eco-Explorers, students will engage in meaningful outdoor environmental education after school! We strive to foster fun, safe, and immersive interactions with nature right at your child’s school. During the program, students will enjoy time exploring the great outdoors, creating nature crafts, conducting science experiments, and getting to meet live animal ambassadors from Irvine Nature Center. Topics from past club sessions include exploring habitats, nature science experiments, pioneers in the field of nature, and animal caretaking. We hope to share with students the wonders of nature, teach some simple things they can do to conserve it, and nurture a lasting connection with the natural world around them.

Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state & national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. All skill levels are welcome.

This art club focuses on creative projects incorporating a range of mediums from sculpting with modeling clay, earthen clay and fibers to painting, printing and collage. Students will have opportunities to learn about different artists/styles and discover new ways to create art and use their imagination. Each week we will focus on a specific medium and creative process.

This class is offered to students in Kindergarten and First grade. Focusing on the basic elements of body placement, posture, coordination, and strength, students will be introduced to elementary ballet principles and technique. They will then work on applying these techniques as they explore musicality and creativity in the jazz style of dance! Students must wear clothes they are comfortable moving and dancing in such as leggings, leotards, tanks tops, gym shorts and t-shirts. Students may wear socks or bring their own ballet shoes.

The elementary developmental team is open to boys and girls aged 7 through 5^th grade. The objective is to expose young athletes to the fundaments of training in a fun and competitive environment. 

Registration includes a Reds T-Shirt and access to the Reds Team Store which offers additional merchandise for purchase. Registration will also include some race entries. There may be additional race entry cost depending on athlete availability and race opportunities.

The middle school development team is open to middle school boys and girls. The objective is to build upon the fundamentals in the sport and raise the level of competition in a safe and age-appropriate manner. 

Registration includes a Reds UA Singlet and access to the Reds Team Store which offers additional merchandise for purchase. Registration will also include some race entries. There may be additional race entry cost depending on athlete availability and race opportunities.

The high school development team is open to high school boys and girls. The objective is to provide additional coaching, consultation, and out of season race opportunities for high school athletes. Assistance with navigating the college recruiting process will also be offered to our athletes as well.

Superhero Club is a program of fun and purpose where club members will build/reinforce their supervalues – kindness, creativity, community, self-confidence, respect and more.  Your superheroes will not only have fun and build positive community, but they will also practice kindness and compassion daily, get physically active, build age appropriate social/emotional skills, develop team building skills, participate in a club designed community connections project and engage in various STEM and arts and crafts activities! Join our community of heroes who are working to change the world!
