ATHLETICS AT RPCS:
What it means to be a red

Athletics at Roland Park Country School is about more than just competition. While our teams perform at high levels and seek championship titles, we remain committed to nurturing a lifelong love for sports, health, and wellness.

At RPCS, student-athletes learn the value of dedication, resilience, and teamwork — lessons that extend far beyond the lines of play. Our Athletics Department fosters a supportive environment where teammates empower one another, celebrate each other's successes, and grow stronger together.

For students in grades 6-12, RPCS offers interscholastic athletics as an extracurricular activity. There is no requirement to participate.

What makes RPCS athletics stand out is the strong sense of family and support that you get every day from coaches, trainers, and teammates. Being an athlete here means not only growing in the sport you play but also growing as a person when you push the people around you to be their best selves."Logan G.,

The RPCS athletics program is such a fun experience. There is so much spirit and everyone is so supportive. It is something truly special to be able to participate in the sports I love and be able to also encourage fellow athletes. Adeline H.,
2030

It is our goal every season to provide an opportunity for participation in after-school athletics for all students in grades 6-8 who are interested in participating. Decisions on roster sizes are based on the number of students who attend tryouts, facility space, scheduling, available resources and skill level. If numbers seem to indicate a need for roster size restrictions, we will be in touch with athletes and parents in advance of the start of tryouts.
