Science 4

In fourth grade science, the focus changes from the natural world into earth sciences, which an emphasis on rock patterns, plate tectonics, and changing land masses. More in-depth studies of physics also occur in fourth grade, as the girls dive deeper into how energy is created and transferred, and how it relates to speed, motion, and sound energy. 

The girls are introduced to the fundamental principles of electricity and its behavior regarding circuitry. The practical application of these electrical engineering principles provide the girls with the fundamental knowledge used in a multidisciplinary project in which they combine social studies and art skills to develop maps with a circuitry board.
