4th Grade Math

The fourth-grade Math in Focus curriculum strengthens students’ fluency with multi-digit multiplication and division while introducing more complex concepts with fractions and decimals. Students also explore geometry, measurement, and data analysis, learning to apply these skills to real-world problems. Emphasis is placed on developing strong problem-solving strategies and mathematical reasoning to build confidence and flexibility in thinking. Throughout the year, students engage with hands-on activities and visual models that deepen their conceptual understanding and prepare them for more advanced math in the years ahead.
