Kindergarten Social Studies
The kindergarten social studies program helps students build context and understanding of the world around them while developing a sense of belonging and respect for others. Through activities that highlight each individual’s uniqueness and cultural identity, students learn to appreciate diversity and engage in thoughtful, respectful conversations. They also begin exploring the foundations of civic engagement and are introduced to basic non-fiction research skills to support curiosity and inquiry about their communities and the wider world.
