Kindergarten Science

In the kindergarten science class, girls explore the outdoors and are introduced to physics and engineering concepts. The girls learn about animal needs and habitats, and work in our gardens to plant seeds and learn about seed germination. Additionally, a multi-disciplinary project between STEAM and science involves learning about weather conditions, patterns and hazards, studying the four seasons, and culminates in a project where our girls become meteorologists.

The girls learn the physics behind pushing and pulling, speed and direction, and participate in many engineering design challenges throughout the year.
