Dance 8

Eighth grade dance is a semester-long arts elective course. The class is based in dance composition and performance. As a class, we will work towards a collective advancement in dance technique. Semester long choreography projects and performance pieces will enable us to explore the foundations of choreographing and performing dance from a variety of perspectives. We will build a community of studied dancers by working in groups to compose and offer feedback to one another.  By the end of the semester, we will have created and collectively choreographed two dance pieces to be performed in either the Middle School winter or spring concert.
