CHERRY TREE COUNCIL
The Cherry Tree Council is a group of out of town alumnae whose role is to serve as ambassadors of the School, advise the Head of School on issues important to both the RPCS Alumnae Association and the School, assist in planning alumnae events and, upon occasion, accompany the Head of School on visits to alumnae. When time allows, help seek and encourage Alumnae support for the Annual Fund and Capital Giving campaigns. The term is for three years, and two consecutive terms may be served.
The Cherry Tree Council will help extend Roland Park Country School’s connections with alumnae and other friends of RPCS outside the Baltimore area through friend-making and engaging with alumnae around the country. The Cherry Tree Council will help support programs that focus on “giving back” to RPCS and encourage philanthropy to benefit the School and its mission. The Cherry Tree Council will act as “a sounding board” for the School on strategic issues. The Cherry Tree Council will work to increase the School’s national visibility. The Cherry Tree Council will explore ways to reinforce the sense of RPCS community and shared values that characterize RPCS alumnae through all these years.
