Upper School Student Life

Welcome to Student Life at RPCS!
opening day 2023

Students are the life and heart of a school. At Roland Park Country School, we strive to create opportunities for our students to feel a sense of belonging and pride in their school community. When students have a place and a purpose within their school, greater connections can be made and higher learning can take place. Whether students are looking to join an organization, lead a club, or become involved in other ways, there is a place in the Upper School at RPCS for everyone.

Students have the opportunity to run for an elected position within their class, or in one of our organizations, including the Athletic Association, Association of School Activities, Community Service Association, Fine Arts Association, Honor Board, Student Diversity Association, Student Government Association and our Student Wellness Organization. We hold elections every year, so even if students are not elected one year, they can try again the next year.

In addition, the Upper School has over 30 student-led clubs where students come together with peers in every grade who share a similar interest or passion, or want to give back to a certain cause. These clubs cover a wide array of interests from Model UN and One Love, to some of our service clubs like Think Pink and Ronald McDonald House, which focus on giving back to the community through fundraisers and donation drives.

Our traditions foster a sense of community and belonging that are unique to our school. From Opening Day, to Dodgeball, to school dances, to Spirit Weeks, students become immersed in the life of the school. Students support each other by attending sporting events, plays and musicals, Coffee Houses and art shows. There are countless ways to get involved.

Come see what student life at RPCS is all about!

Warmly,
