Book Talk: The Good News About Bad Behavior

The RPCS, Gilman, and Bryn Mawr Lower Schools present a discussion with Katherine Reynolds Lewis, author of The Good News About Bad Behavior, on Wednesday, October 23, from 7-9 p.m. at Roland Park Country School, in the Sinex Theater. Katherine's book explains why some modern children are undisciplined and discusses rebuilding lost self-control, resolving family conflict and changing the trajectory of kids.

Katherine contributes to The Atlantic, Fortune magazine, Parents, USA Today’s magazine group, the Washington Post and Working Mother magazine. Her byline has also appeared in Bloomberg Businessweek, MSN Money, Money, the New York Times, Parade, Slate, and the Washington Post Magazine. Her story for Mother Jones magazine about school discipline went viral after it was published in July 2015, becoming the site’s most-viewed piece.

In advance of Lewis's visit, join us for a tri-school parents book discussion on Sunday, October 20, from 2-4 p.m. in the Dining Hall at Bryn Mawr.
