If additional bad weather closings require that the school add more days to the calendar, the following days may be added:

March 24 (Monday), April 28 (Professional Day) and/or May 26 (Memorial Day Observed).

Our school calendar, in conjunction with calendars at Bryn Mawr and Gilman, is based on the following assumptions:

School will always begin on the first Wednesday in September except when in conflict with a religious holiday.

Commencement for Roland Park Country School and Bryn Mawr will be held on a Tuesday in June.  Gilman's graduation will be on the preceding Monday, Bryn Mawr’s graduation will be on the Wednesday after that Tuesday, allowing for approximately 173 academic days, but no greater than 176 and no fewer than 171.

Winter and spring breaks aim to provide a combined total of approximately three school weeks of vacation.

We will provide three faculty professional development days in addition to the AIMS day in the fall: one day close to the fall AIMS conference; the Friday preceding President's Day in February, and the Monday following Easter in the Spring.

The school will be closed for the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur when these holidays fall on a weekday.  The School will also be closed to observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, President's Day, Good Friday, and Memorial Day.
