Meet the Admissions Staff

Dear Prospective Students and Families:

Greetings! I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce you to the wonderful place that is Roland Park Country School. RPCS is a college preparatory school educating girls and young women in Grades K-12 for over 100 years in the Roland Park neighborhood of Baltimore City. It is so exciting to be able to welcome you into such an extraordinary all girls’ school.

RPCS has been educating girls and young women for over a century with a college preparatory, academically challenging curriculum enhanced by the integration of the arts and athletics. In our supportive all girls' environment, the faculty is dedicated to ensuring the success of each RPCS student.

At RPCS, educating each student is our top priority, and I think that you will become aware of this as you spend time on our campus during the admissions process. All of us in the Admissions Office look forward to meeting you and your daughter and helping guide you through this important decision.

The RPCS Upper School offers over ninety academic electives, over fifteen Advanced Placement courses and seminars, and is supplemented with extensive fine and performing arts and athletic offerings, a strong community service program and the integration of technology in all aspects of the curriculum.

What are the qualities that distinguish one school from another and make one choice the better fit for your daughter? At RPCS the answer is evident in how we nourish not only each student’s mind but also her sense of self.  Positive, consistent and successful interactions between faculty and students combined with rigorous academic programs, state of the art technology, arts and athletics characterize our approach at RPCS.  We believe that an all girls’ school is a gift you can give your daughter.

RPCS encourages self-discipline, independence of thought, tenacity of purpose and creativity and fosters personal integrity, respect for others, an appreciation of diversity and leadership in its young women. Supported by a strong College Counseling program, 100% of our students go to college. RPCS instills a lifelong love of learning in its students.

On behalf of Head of School, Jean Waller Brune, and everyone here at RPCS, we thank you for your interest. We understand that choosing a school is not only about where your daughter will take classes, but also a second home where she will grow into a competent, confident young woman. I invite you to come and visit RPCS, a school where girls find their voices and experience our vibrant, supportive, challenging and exciting environment. I am sure that once you see our girls in action, you, too, will understand how unique RPCS is! I look forward to meeting you and hope that you will become part of the RPCS family!

Sincerely,

Peggy K. Wolf
