Tablet PC Seminar - October 24-27 2010 and April 10th-13th 2011

At this seminar you will have the opportunity to interact with students, faculty and administrators to learn the many ways in which these astonishing machines have changed the way our faculty teach and our students learn. This three-day conference is for faculty, technologists and administrators.

Interested in different learning styles? During this conference we will demonstrate how our faculty are using these machines to transform the way they teach. We will explore tablet applications that use the neurodevelopment constructs of School’s Attuned “All Kinds of Minds” and Howard Gardner.

We will show you some of the ways the tablet can assist you in reaching all students in your classroom regardless of their learning style.

During this three day conference you will:

  • Learn the history of the Roland Park Country School one-to-one program.

  • Collaborate with faculty and students that have been using tablets for six years.

  • Participate in hands-on OneNote training including the use of shared OneNote notebooks.

  • Collaborate with members of the technology department on what is needed to have a successful one-to-one-program.

  • Bring your own tablet or one will be provided for you to use during the conferences

Conference fee:

$550 per person
